Reliably Accessing Building Performance Data Takes a Plan

Updated: Apr 11

Reaching optimum levels of building performance requires unfettered access to data. Most building owners do not have appropriate access or control over their own data.

The selection and planning of a building's operational technologies and smart building infrastructure, based on a comprehensive data standard, is most easily and cost-effectively achieved by integrating building science and data science tools and capabilities.

Corporate Real Estate Journal (CRE Journal Volume 13 Number 3) recently published a white paper by Craig Stevenson, AUROS Group and Donnie Walker & Mike MacMahon, Newcomb & Boyd which addresses the tools, technologies and processes essential for owners and developers to control the building performance data in a portfolio of buildings.
